We always try to target some of the biggest games of the week with our “Pick of the Week” and this time it is in the NCAA between the Auburn Tigers and Georgia Bulldogs.
With two top ten teams in the country throwing down tonight, we had to pick a dog, or cat, in the fight.
Here’s who we are taking for our “Pick of the Week.”
Auburn Tigers vs Georgia Bulldogs
Both teams are looking to build on week one wins, after Auburn rolled over 23rd ranked Kentucky and Georgia knocked out a 37-10 win over Arkansas.
These teams collide today in what is sure to set the tone for the rest of the season.
With a shortened list of teams to play against, they both have several top-10 and top-25 opponents to face in the coming weeks.
A loss today would set one of these teams on a track heading the other direction in rankings.
The big story lines is that Auburn has already faced what is expected to be a top-25 team in Kentucky, and they dominated with a 29-13 win.
Georgia is shuffling quarterbacks and still trying to find their rhythm. Moves at that level against a good team like Auburn are going to hurt them. They are not in Arkansas anymore.
While they are trying to figure that out, Auburn is going to be building on their momentum from last week, and that’s why I like Auburn tonight.
And I truly believe they can win, or at least take it to a last-minute score.
That’s why the smart money is on Auburn plus the spread tonight. They are the underdogs by 7.5 points, so we’ll take the Tigers +7.5.
FanDuel is paying out -120 for taking Auburn Tigers +7.5 points. That means a $100 bet will give you the chance at $83.33 in profit, or a 83.33% gain. If you are looking for a chance to win $100 from this bet, you’ll need to risk $120.
For us to win, we need the Auburn Tigers to either win the game or lose by seven points or less. If they lose by eight points or more, we will lose the bet.
Don’t forget we have at least four additional picks practically every day for our Elite Daily Bets packages.
