I’m pumped for the game, but I know the players are even more excited.
It’s the first game of the season for both teams as Clemson come out hoping to prove they are the true number one.
This has me looking for an all out show on both sides of the ball from Clemson, looking for utter domination of the Demon Deacons.
College football is unique in that it has basically three, maybe four levels of caliber in teams. While Wake Forest sits around the second or third level, the jump to the first level that Clemson plays on is light years away.
You’ll see it tonight. But it’s on par with an elite NFL team (Clemson) playing a college-level team (Wake Forest).
That’s why I’m taking the Tigers to cover the spread tonight and win by more than 34.5 points!
It sounds like a lot, but Clemson is no stranger to 30-point, 40-point, even 50-point wins.
They beat Wake Forest last year by 49 points. The beat 23rd ranked Virginia by 45 points. And they topped LSU in the championship game by nearly 20 points.
So I feel great about taking Clemson to win by 35 points tonight.
