It’s time to welcome back the NBA!
The top two games tonight are the Utah Jazz facing the New Orleans Pelicans and then an inter-city rival with the Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers.

There’s only eight games before the playoffs start, so every game is huge as teams try to make the seeding.
Teams are going to be affected playing in Disney’s bubble. Without family and friends, it’s going to create different struggles for each player and team. Not to mention if the virus begins spreading inside the bubble.
Struggles while the NBA Comes Back
Zion Williamson is one of the first to go through it. He left for family reasons, then came back, but now he is day-to-day as they decide whether or not he is worth the risk to put back on the court.
This is the kind of dilemma’s all the players face. And they are probably hearing it from family with issues, or big plans. You know how it is when you are out of town for weeks at a time. Some have supporting friends and family, but these young kids don’t all have supporting peers around them.
It will be close to watch throughout the season, the good news is that it is a short time period – eight games and the playoffs. That’s when teams start going home anyways.
The MLB, playing outside of the bubble, has already had to postpone the games for the Marlins. The MLB, which played in Disney, has had to send teams home and postpone games.
And the NBA isn’t going to be without it’s own problems.
We’ll keep a close eye on all of it to find the absolute best bets each day.

The only MLS game is Philadelphia Union (+260) vs Sporting Kansas City (-115). The first game of the quarterfinals and there’s a huge favorite in Kansas City. The Union made it this far by keeping games close and winning by small margins, or holding teams to draws. Kansas City has had some big wins and ain’t afraid to put up points. I wouldn’t bet against them.
First round of NBAs double header is between the Utah Jazz (+118) and New Orleans Pelicans (-138). This is our “Pick of the Day” and I love the matchup. They met twice this year, but none of them had Zion. He could be a game changer tonight if he plays.
The late night game is a battle of Los Angeles – the Clippers (+146) and the Lakers (-174). Lebron is on the scene looking to lead another team to a title. Does he steamroll his way there, or do they wobble in the first few games as they get back together. I prefer the steamrolling.
In the MLB, the biggest underdog last night came through with the upset, as Seattle beat the Angels. Tonight’s biggest underdog shifts to the Baltimore Orioles (+188) and the New York Yankees (-220). To be fair, the Orioles were supposed to play the Marlins, but because of the postponed games, they had to adjust and play the much better Yankees. They are still at home, which makes them an interesting underdog tonight.
