Florida State Seminoles vs Miami Hurricanes
One of the top rivalries in college kicks off tonight as the underdog Seminoles look to bring it back to life.
It’s been four years since Florida State has beaten the Hurricanes and with Miami being the 12th ranked team in the nation, this is going to be a tough year to do it.
Against 18th ranked Louisville, Miami looked phenomenal.
Coming away with a 47-34 victory, it was really a difference in the red zone. Miami was finding the end zone while Louisville was forced to settle for field goals early. With a 13-point win, settling for field goals would come back to haunt them.
But, the stoutness of Miami’s defense against a top 25-ranked team was really impressive.
And the defensive approach in Louisville, which lead me to avoid the over in the game, was nonexistent against a powerful Miami offense.
Now Miami has a chance to flex their muscle against an old rival in south Florida. Boy, I know who I am taking to win. It’s the Hurricanes without question and I like them covering the 10.5-point spread.
Florida State is off to a 0-1 start against Georgia Tech… Georgia Tech got smoked in a 28-point loss to 14th ranked UCF.
Trust me, Miami is looking to win by even more than that.
I’ll take Miami to win by more than 10.5 points.
