“Pick of the Day” NCAAM: Upset Alert Day 1 of March Madness!

“Pick of the Day” NCAAM: Upset Alert Day 1 of March Madness!

Norfolk came through for us yesterday for the play in game. With day one of the NCAA Tournament officially kicking off today, we have an early upset pick to put your money on.

We’ll be looking at the matchup between the Syracuse Orange and San Diego State Aztecs.

Here’s the bet to take…

Syracuse Orange vs San Diego State Aztecs

The Syracuse Orange drew the 11th seed as they get ready to battle the 6th ranked Aztecs. San Diego has arguably had an easier schedule, only playing two top 25 teams, but they won both games.

Syracuse, in the ACC, had to go up against the old stable of college greatness in UNC and Duke, who, are having an off year but still play competitively within the conference.

Then there was four total top 25 matchups, with three of those in the top 20.

It was their losses that put them down to the 11th seed, but they have a chance for the upset today as they get rolling just in time for the NCAA tournament.

I’ll take the underrated Syracuse Orange for the upset tonight.

FanDuel is paying out +136 for picking the Syracuse Orange for the win. That means a $100 bet will have the chance to payout $136 or a 136% profit. If you are looking for an opportunity to win $100, you’ll need to bet $74 on this game.

For us to win, we need the Syracuse Orange to win the game. If they lose, we will lose the bet.

That’s all for today.
