“Pick of the Week” NHL: Vegas Golden Knights vs Vancouver Canucks

Our “Pick of the Week” is in the NHL today between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Vancouver Canucks.

After a break to join in on the boycott to highlight social injustice, sports are getting back into full swing today.

Game three in the second round is sure to be another great game between the Knights and Canucks, who are tied at one a piece right now.

We also have a “Pick of the Day” today, but only for those who have already signed up for our Fan Club package. Today that pick is between the Portland Trail Blazers and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Here’s our edge in tonight’s “Pick of the Week.”

Vegas Golden Knights vs Vancouver Canucks

These two teams have a very even record, but it is Vegas that has emerged as a clear favorite.

After delivering a strong 5-0 win in game won, the Canucks bounced back scoring five goals of their own in game two to grab a win. Vegas was simply not as good. But don’t expect them to stay down for long.

With some rest, both of these teams plan to come out firing.

The stats point that way as well. Vegas averaged 3.15 goals this year, and allowed 2.94. The Canucks averaged 3.25 goals a game, while allowing 3.10.

Tonight’s over/under is six goals.

Considering they have averaged that amount for the whole season, I’m happy taking the over tonight.

It’s the Knights turn to show up and grab the win, but the Canucks will put up some points to make it a challenge. That should lead to more than six goals in rather quick fashion.

Sportsbooks are paying out -110 for taking the total combined score to be for more than six goals tonight. That means a $100 bet will pay out $90.91 if we win. If you want to a chance to win $100 from this bet, you’ll need to put up $110.

For us to win, we need the combined score between both teams to add up to more than six points. If it adds up to six points, the bet is canceled. But if it adds up to five points or less, we will lose the bet.
