With an 18 game win streak on the line, or “Pick of the Day” features the #1 ranked Baylor Bears taking on the Kansas State Wildcats.
The Bears may not be looking for a cat fight, but the sports betting world is expecting just that. Baylor has a 76% chance to win and add to their winning streak, but the odds makers have them listed as just a 6.5 point favorite.
In other words, it’s going to be close.
Unranked Kansas State has shown they have what it takes to beat a ranked team – they toppled then-12th ranked WVU a couple of weeks ago.
But, tonight they faced the topped ranked team in the nation, and it’s not going to be easy to keep up.
The conference matchup makes it a tempting time to bet on the upset, but I’m not taking the bait.
I’m sticking with number one Baylor Bears, looking for them to win by more than 6.5 points.
Kansas State has struggled this year, amassing just nine wins compared to Baylor’s 19. And the closest they came to beating another ranked team was a 9 point loss to WVU – after beating them in the first meeting.
It’s a home game for Kansas State, but I’m betting on Baylor coming out strong. They haven’t showed much weakness this year, only one loss in the second game of the season.
The team has meshed now and I expect them to roll past Kansas State with easily a 9 point plus win tonight.
