The Buffalo Bulls face the Texas Tech Red Raiders in the second round of the NCAA tournament. Texas Tech remains the favorite, but Buffalo is looking for the upset.
We rode Buffalo to a dominant win over the Akron Zips, and you can guess we are sticking with the Bulls again.
Texas Tech took a huge defeat when WVU rolled in and stunned them in the quarterfinal of the Big 12 tournament.
The Bulls are riding a 13 game win-streak, and it doesn’t have to end yet.
They cruised to a championship in the MAC tournament and are looking to go deep into the NCAA tournament. Texas Tech had a dominant win Friday over 14-seed Northern Kentucky, but Buffalo is a much better team that will give them a run for their money.
With 85 average points per game for Buffalo verse 73 for Texas Tech, the offensive attack of Buffalo may be too much.
Still, I wont go as far as looking for them to win. Instead, I like taking them with the points, plus 3.5. I expect it to be close, regardless of who gets the lucky roll in the final minute. If Buffalo can hold it to within a three, we will win our bet.
The book at FanDuel is giving the Bulls 3.5 points and paying out -110 for the bet. That means a $110 bet will pay out $100 if we win, or a 90.91% gain.
In this bet, the more points the better. So if you can find a spread of four or 4.5 points, then take it. Anything over 3.5 is better.
To profitable bets,
Ryan
