DSB Rundown – Astros -1.5, Starting QBs and a Top Lock in MLB

Three hot topic items we are going to look at today.

We have the Astros -1.5 literally trending on Twitter. Plus, let’s check back on Monday’s Rundown and see how my starting QBs are doing. Then I have a top lock in the MLB, even better than Astros -1.5.

Don’t miss a new offer we’ve created. It’s called the $5 Get Up package. $5 you get all my picks for a single day. You can’t beat that price anywhere.

Astros -1.5

So we have Astros -1.5 trending on Twitter today. I like the matchup and bet here, nothing outside the box.

But when a pick gets to the status of trending on Twitter, how likely is it to hit?

I honestly don’t know. Just seems to me like popular opinion could be running away with free money if that is the case. People posting their free plays of Astros -1.5 and with two and three units on the bet.

It would be a huge upset at this point if the Royals can pull of an upset.

Keeping it close through the first six innings or so, so don’t sleep on that Twitter bet.

Starting QBs

  1. Denver Broncos – Teddy Bridgewater or Drew Lock
  2. Jacksonville Jaguars – Trevor Lawrence or Gardner Minshew
  3. San Francisco 49ers – Trey Lance or Jimmy Garapollo
  4. New Orleans Saints – Taysom Hill or Jameis Winston
  5. Chicago Bears – Andy Dalton or Justin Fields
  6. New England Patriots – Cam Newton or Mac Jones

Quick follow up on Monday’s QB drama discussion.

My picks are in bold above, and the ones highlighted in green are the ones named starters for week 1 as of today. So far, two for two with four remaining.

Mac Jones is making progress this week and was trending today with a stellar performance against the Giants first stringers. Don’t think it will be Justin Fields in Chicago, though it should be.

We’ll have more updates in the coming days as we approach the start of the NFL season in September.

“Pick of the Day” MLB: Minnesota Twins vs Boston Red Sox

Today we are jumping ship on the Padres and Dodgers game, though I do like the over tonight in it especially at just 8 runs.

But, as we turn to the Red Sox looking to dominate a weaker Minnesota team after a high scoring game, my money isn’t on Boston.

The Twins beat them at the end of the last series and ran up 9 runs in the last game where Boston had 11 to win.

Instead, I like the over/under tonight too. Bookies have pushed the run limit to 10 tonight.

That’s one I’d like to fade and take the under after the crazy high scoring game from last night.

Fanduel is paying out -106 for picking the combined score to be under 10.5 runs. That means a $100 bet will have the chance to payout $94 or a 94% profit. If you are looking for an opportunity to win $100, you’ll need to bet $106 on this game.

For us to win, we need the total score between both teams to add up to 10 runs or less. If it adds up to 11 runs or more, we will lose the bet.

That’s all for today.
