DSB Rundown: MLB Sunday on Deck for 15 Straight Games; We Have You Covered

The U.S. of America is bringing home some golds and you got to love it.

The Olympics are one of those grand stages that we get to put our athletes on top of the world and it was great to see so many of them step up to the task.

But our focus today isn’t on the rundown of Olympic games, but the MLB. They are stealing the show with 15 straight games on deck.

We’ll talk about some must-watch matchups and top bets all with your money in mind. We are here for profits after all.

MLB Sunday with 15 Games

The Mets vs Phillies, Mariners vs Yankees and Rays vs Orioles get us started at 1:05 with a slew of more games in the early time slots before we get four matchups after 3pm, plus a late one, just 7pm EST for the White Sox and Cubs.

It’s a great day of baseball on deck and we want to make sure you stay ahead of the curb. So here’s what to watch…

Interesting fact, of the 14 day games, 13 of them all favor the home team. The only away favorite is the Tampa Bay Rays.

New York Mets (+150) vs Philadelphia Phillies (-178)

No secret here folks. I like to look at the wild card odds of the day, the outliers if you will, and place contrarian bets.

This matchup has the lowest over/under of the day sitting at 8 runs. Our last over 8 bet didn’t hit, but that tells me this one has even more chances of delivering a payout. This one would pay out -114 if it hits.

I’ll stick with the over on 8 runs between the Mets and Phillies early today

Tampa Bay Rays (-174) vs Baltimore Orioles (+146)

Like I mentioned, only game where the away team is the favorite. But that’s not why we are looking at it.

It’s also the game with the highest over/under today, 10.5.

So what do I want to take?

The under baby. We know the average runs per game is 9. There will be actual outliers, where games go for 15 runs and some go for 2, but it will average out at 9.

It pays out -110 for taking the under on 10.5 runs.

That’s why I place these contrarian bets, to see the scores revert back to the mean and help guide us to profits.

Boston Red Sox (+180) vs Toronto Blue Jays (-215)

In this one, we have the Red Sox, 65-48 record, going on the road to face the Blue Jays, 59-50 record.

The Red Sox are no slouches this year and I don’t count on them sitting out this away game. It could be close, but I love that they have the muscle of the better record to come in to Toronto and grab the upset that to them, can’t really feel like one.

I’ll ride the Red Sox today, plus 1.5 runs though. To cover a close one like this may be. That pays out -114 according to FanDuel.

“Pick of the Day” MLB: San Francisco Giants vs Milwaukee Brewers

The Giants and Brewers are neck and neck when it comes to season records – 69-41 and 66-44. Doesnt really matter whos who because it is so tight.

It’s going to be a great game, which is why it is our “Pick of the Day.” Should be a good battle, fun to watch, but more importantly a nice payout.

I’m looking at the Giants, coming off a 2-1 loss to the Brewers to deliver a solid win on the road.

And I think they do it by more than one run.

So our number one pick today, above all the other notes mentioned above, is taking the Giants to win over the Brewers by more than 1.5 runs.

Fanduel is paying out +164 for picking the San Francisco Giants to win by more than 1.5 runs. That means a $100 bet will have the chance to payout $164 or a 164% profit. If you are looking for an opportunity to win $100, you’ll need to bet $61 on this game.

For us to win, we need the Giants to win by two runs or more. If they win by one run, or lose the game, we will lose the bet.

That’s all for today.
