DSB Rundown – Trending Bets Not a Good Look, Another MLB Top Bet

We are going to tackle trending bets today.

I pointed it out yesterday, but now we have a pretty sincere conclusion from them.

Plus, we’ll get into another lock on my list in the MLB. But first, I know some of you may be tired of baseball bets.

It’s all we’ve had lately and while there is more in our premium packages, like the $5 Get Up package, it can get boring if that is not your favorite sport.

I mean, we are making money most days, so that’s exciting. But it helps to follow along with your bets during the game.

All I can say, is right now, there’s just so many opportunities in the MLB, that we have to focus there.

But in the coming weeks, we’ll get a ton more sports back, including NFL and NCAA football. So while we’ll mix in some soccer and WNBA and other sports, it will be a few weeks before we get more balanced.

Just stay patient.

Don’t miss a new offer we’ve created. It’s called the $5 Get Up package. $5 you get all my picks for a single day. You can’t beat that price anywhere.

Trending Bets Not a Good Look

So Astros -1.5 trending on Twitter was a signal to fade the bet, not chase the crowd.

We’ve seen plenty of bets trend in recent weeks, including Angels -1.5 yesterday.

The Orioles snapped a 19 game losing streak to win 10-6 on that one. And the Astros still won, but only by one run. Not enough to cover the bet.

It’s not looking good for those freebies on #GamblingTwitter right now.

There’s been a trend lately to just take the favorites.

The MLB is seeing such a disparity between the good and the bad, that a parlay of the top teams to simply win seems to hit more times than not.

But the underdogs still come to play, don’t forget that.

That’s why you should never bet the farm on a single bet. No matter how confident you are, or how popular it is on Twitter, it still can be a total loss.

“Pick of the Day” MLB: San Francisco Giants vs New York Mets

After saying all that about the favorite teams, we are placing a bet with a favorite tonight.

The San Francisco Giants are going on the road against a New York Mets team that hasn’t lived up to expectations this season.

In their matchups, the Mets have only won one game. The Giants won the other five.

Tonight, the Giants, with a better record and a four game win streak (two over the Mets) are a clear favorite.

But we aren’t taking them plus any runs. Just the money line.

We’ll hammer it on San Fran tonight looking for a quick “W.”

Fanduel is paying out -124 for picking the Giants to win. That means a $100 bet will have the chance to payout $80 or a 80% profit. If you are looking for an opportunity to win $100, you’ll need to bet $124 on this game.

For us to win, we need the San Francisco Giants to win the game. If they lose, we will lose the bet.

That’s all for today.
