The Grambling Tigers are set to face the Prairie View A&M Panthers for the semifinal round of the SWAC tournament at 3:30 tomorrow.
This matchup is sure to be a good one, but maybe not as close as the book makers have it.
Before I breakdown this game for you, let’s reflect on our win from earlier today.
We picked the Buffalo Bulls to win by more than nine points. They went on to dominate, winning by a whopping 36 points. Nice work on picking up our first win of the week, paying out a 90.91% win.
Now, for today’s pick, we are staying in NCAA basketball. These matchups are so fun to watch, it would be a shame not to get in on the action.
A Mismatch to Take Advantage
I’ll found another matchup I believe is mismatched by the book makers.
They are giving the Prairie View A&M Panthers to win by 3.5 points, and I see where they get it from.
The teams average almost exactly three point different in points per game, with Prairie on top. Points against is separated by just three points too, suggesting close games. Grambling leads when it comes to shooting percentage and rebounds, but it hasn’t come through on the court.
Playing in the same conference, Prairie has done more with 20 wins compared to Grambling’s 17.
And in the head-to-head matchups between the two earlier this year, Prairie Panthers were the better team.
They went into Grambling and walked out with a 17 point win, and took a 5 point win at home.
Now the book makers are giving them just 3.5 points in a tournament game, which is a neutral court.
I’ll take Prairie View A&M Panthers to win by more than 3.5 points. Of course, if you can find a book with a lower number than 3.5, take it.
On FanDuel, the odds are -110, which means a $110 bet will pay out $100.
If you place a $100 bet, you stand to win $90.91, or 90.91% if Prairie wins by more than 3.5 points.
To profitable bets,
Ryan
