The MLS is really coming through with top notch entertainment during a pandemic. Today’s game between Minnesota United FC and Real Salt Lake is going to be a great game.
Of course I’m ready for NBA, NHL, MLB and then NFL to get going again, but the MLS has done a good job creating an intense tournament in Orlando.
And our feature game today has arguably the best team in the entire tournament – Minnesota United FC.
They are coming off three straight wins in 2020, looking to have their fourth tonight. They have scored a total of 10 goals during this three game win streak while only allowing four total goals scored by their opponenets.
Real Salt Lake had a huge win against Colorado Rapids last Sunday, and will look to build on that momentum with another win today.
But when you look at their stats, they are far from impressive. They have managed to score just three goals in the last three games – two of them came last Sunday. Their defense has been solid through, and that’s a matchup with Minnesota that will be key. They shutout Colorado to get the win, held New York Red Bulls to one goal and shut out Orlando to get two draws.
It’s going to be a lot harder to pin down Minnesota though.
Minnesota United FC vs Real Salt Lake
Anything can happen in the bubble, and Disney is known for magic, but it runs out tonight for Real Salt Lake.
Minnesota United FC is on a roll right now. And coming into this matchup, they are only a slight favorite. It’s crazy.
I’ll take those odds everyday and happily put my money on Minnesota United FC for a strong win tonight.
FanDuel is paying out +140 for Minnesota United FC to walk away with a win. A $100 bet will pay out $140 if that’s the case. To profit $100 on this bet, you have to put up $72.
