Nashville and Anaheim Duel on the West Coast

Nashville and Anaheim Duel on the West Coast

The Nashville Predators are heading out west to face the Anaheim Ducks. Coming in as a slight favorite, Nashville is fighting for a top spot in the central division.

This is their first of three games on the road, with the toughest matchup at the end of this stretch against the San Jose Sharks.

The Predators will look to start off the right way with a win against Anaheim, and the stats are leaning that direction.

Nashville Predators average 2.94 points per game, while the Ducks are putting up just 2.26.

The goals against are the key here though, with Predators holding teams to fewer goals at 2.69. Anaheim Ducks, meanwhile, is allowing over 3 goals per game. This sets up Nashville to come out firing, building on their 33 shots per game, a full six more than Anaheim.

The Predators are the better team, and would have a wider spread if this wasn’t on the west coast.

When these two teams met at Nashville on November, 25 they pulled a 5-2 thumping of the Ducks. An earlier November matchup between the two ended in a shoot out, with Anaheim pulling off the win at home.

With roughly a month until the Stanley Cup Playoffs kick off, it’s battle mode for these teams.

And I’m going with Nashville this time around.

They will look to build on the positive momentum the season has brought them, sitting at number two in the central division, as they set up for a playoff run.

The sports book at FanDuel is listing it at -165 odds, meaning a $165 bet will pay out $100. A $100 bet will hand you $60.61 if the Predators pull off the win on the road.

After a few close games, the Predators will use the road trip to Anaheim to get back on track with a win.

To profitable bets,

Ryan
