Our top pick today is between the Sacramento Kings and the Orlando Magic.
As the NBA gets through their final few games, it is setting up for a round of great play-in games for their tournament. The NHL jumped right into their post season, with play-in games going on right now.
It’s all been a blast to watch, but our top bet tonight is the best way to make money today.
Here’s how it breaks down.
Sacramento Kings vs Orlando Magic
The Kings and Magic met once earlier this year and that’s pretty much setting the stage for the odds tonight.
Orlando Magic won that meeting in Sacramento by a two point margin. The sports books are giving Orlando the edge by two points.
The total score of their last game was 226. The over/under tonight is 227.5.
All the sports analyst doing the work for this game don’t see much changing, but when you look at these two teams, one is rising, and one is falling. I’ll stick with the team that’s rising.
The Kings have lost three of their last five games, including their opening in Orlando against the Spurs. It was the Spurs and Sacramento lost by 10.
Orlando is even on paper, but they have won four straight games – including Houston, Minnesota and a 10 point win over the Nets in Orlando.
And I think the Orlando factor is huge for them in these games. There’s a lot going on, the political messages, playing in a bubble, and the pressure of playoffs being on the line. But Orlando Magic had to travel the least, it’s essentially a home game. They are still living in the bubble, but it has to feel better to know your family is just a few minutes away.
All that said, it gives them an edge in the bubble.
And going up against an evenly matched team, we’ll go with the hot team.
FanDuel is paying out -110 to take Orlando Magic to win by more than two points tonight. That means you’ll need to bet $110 to make a $100 profit. If you are looking to make a $100 bet tonight, you’ll be ready to collect $90 if Orlando wins by more than two points.
