The NBA’s first game in Orlando is between the Utah Jazz and New Orleans Pelicans.
Followed up by another top matchup between the two Los Angeles teams, Clippers and Lakers.
All I have to say is it’s great to have basketball back.
This short end of the season to get into playoffs is going to be great for fans and provide several top bets. Starting with our “Pick of the Day”…
Utah Jazz vs New Orleans Pelicans
Two teams looking to play into the tournament have a lot to play for.
The problem is that we are not sure what is going to happen with Zion Williamson. He could play or not play. He could be limited or he could be good to go. We just don’t know what to expect yet.
That makes a bet tonight a bit uncertain.
But, one thing we do know, is the Pelicans can play with the Jazz even without Williamson.
The New Orleans Pelicans and Utah Jazz have met three times before the break this year. The Jazz won two of the games and the Pelicans won one at home.
This is big becuase Zion wasn’t around for either of these games. He is an impact player, but the Pelicans know how to play without him.
So I”m not betting on the Jazz tonight. But Zion’s late decision is enough to make me not bet on the Pelicans either.
What I will take is the over/under.
In their first three games, the total score was 270, 254, and 248.
The over/under tonight is 228.
With their three previous meetings going easily over 228, I’m eager to take the bet on the over tonight.
Coming off of the break, I don’t think their offenses will be slacking. But the defense and hustling back and forth could be hurt. That will help send us towards the over tonight.
