The second game of the first round between Chicago Blackhawks and Vegas Golden Knights is sure to be a great one.
Playoffs are the best. And the NHL is already seeing historic games. The Blue Jackets and Lightning went to five overtimes. Five! Epic, even though we lost our bet, it was fun to watch. Long, but fun.
That’s why our bet today is back in the NHL on another intense game.
Here’s our top bet.
Chicago Blackhawks vs Vegas Golden Knights
In the first game, the Knights walked away with a 4-1 win victory. Sounds easy enough.
But the Blackhawks want revenge. They are sure to bring it tonight, I’m just not sure it will be enough.
These teams met three times at the end of 2019, with the Blackhawks stealing one on the road, while the Knights won the other two.
The Blackhawks were fighting from last in the Central division, while the Vegas Golden Knights were sitting in first of the Pacific. It’s not apples-to-apples, but with 39 wins for the Knights, the Blackhawks 32 wins don’t keep up.
Let’s face it, the Knights are hot right now.
They’ve won five straight since the break, and had two wins before the shutdown. The seven game win streak is on the line, and I wouldn’t bet on it ending. Instead, I think they remain strong. And they bring their A game tonight against a weaker Blackhawks team.
Taking the Knights to win pays out -210. Not quite what I’m looking for. So I’ll go with them winning by more than one goal tonight to boost the payout.
They won by three goals in the first game, we just need a two goal win tonight to pay out.
