Big Ten Game of the Week – Penn State Nittany Lions vs Michigan State Spartans

Two of the Top Teams in the Nation

The Penn State Nittany Lions are carrying a four-game win streak into Michigan to face the Spartans.

It’s the battle of the week for the Big 10 conference as the first placed team, Michigan State (16-6 record), face the sixth ranked team, Penn State (16-5 record) – but they have nearly identical records.

In fact, Penn State is slightly better, in terms of wins and losses, not caliber of wins and losses, which is factored into national rankings.

Michigan State clearly won’t overlook Penn State, as they want to hold onto their 16th ranking for the nation.

But the odds makers have Kansas State as an 8.5 point underdog, predicting a strong win for Michigan State. 22nd ranked Penn State Nittany Lions sees this as an opportunity to climb in the rankings and prove their deserve a top spot.

“Pick of the Day”

That’s why I’m ready to take Penn State plus 8.5 points. I see it being a close game, coming down to the wire, decided by five points or less.

FanDuel is paying out -110 for taking Penn State plus 8.5 points. That means we want Penn State to simply lose by less than 8.5 points. An eight point loss means we win our bet.

If you want to collect $100 if you win, you’ll need to bet $110 on this matchup. If you bet $100 on the game, you stand to collect $90.91.

Our bet last night on Baylor to cover the spread fell a half a point short. I know it’s a sour loss, but don’t give up. We’ll win plenty of more bets, starting with this one tomorrow night.

To profitable bets,

Ryan
