It seems like it has been forever since we have bet on a football game, but the regular season is just around the corner. So it’s time to get in on some preseason action.
Our bet last night on the Dodgers-Marlins going over eight points was covered as the Dodgers scored 11 on their own. Let’s get another win as we look to the NFL tonight.
Since it is preseason, there are not many stats to go off of.
This is the second week, and both of these teams performed poorly in week 1, notching losses.
What I’m betting on tonight is the sloppiness of a preseason game. It’s week 2, which means the starters may play more than one drive. Likely look to get a touchdown from the starters on each team. That puts us at a total of 14 points for the game. I also expect each teams backups to get one touchdown. That puts the total at 28. The over/under is 34, so I expect one more touchdown to be scored to at least cover the spread, if not more touchdowns.
That’s the basis for this bet. Looking for each of these teams to bounce back and get a few TDs.
