Tomorrow’s matchup between the Phoenix Suns and Washington Wizards is another one between two teams with nothing to play for.
Still, I see one that is heading upwards and one that is giving up. That gives us an easy bet.
We are picking on the Wizards for the second day in a row because they are having to bounce back from being eliminated from playoff hopes. They’ve had to overcome a lot of diversity this year, with the injury to their star point guard John Wall, and missing the playoffs will be hard to bounce back from.
This is the second game on the road for them, in the middle of a four game stretch. Road games are always harder, even when you are playing one of the worst teams in the league.
The Phoenix Suns have just 17 wins this season, but six of those have been in the last month.
I’m not saying they are turning things around for good, but they are clearly not giving up on the rest of the year. These are guys that are securing their spots for next season and giving the franchise some momentum and hope heading into the offseason.

In tomorrow’s matchup, the book at FanDuel is giving the Phoenix Suns two points, +2. The pay is -110, which means it takes a $110 bet to net a payout of $100. Another way to look at it is the bet pays out 90.91% gain if you win. Not bad for picking a game.
Of course I always recommend shopping around for the best spread. Since we are picking the underdog with the points, a higher point spread is better. If you can find more than two points, that increases your odds of winning the bet.
