The Rockies beat the Diamondbacks last night and are on a four game win streak.
But the Diamondbacks had a three game win streak until last nights loss, and they are looking to bounce back.
Arizona has only won six of the 14 games between the two, but another win would bring it closer to even. So I’m not gambling on a winner tonight.
Instead, we are targeting the over/under.
After a 9-4 outing last night, and a few high scoring games for the Rockies, the odds makers have pegged the over/under at 11 for tonight, at least on Fanduel.
I expect them to slow down the scoring tonight and come up short of 11 total runs tonight.
Fanduel is paying out -104 for picking the under 11 runs tonight. That means a $100 bet will have the chance to payout $96 or a 96% profit. If you are looking for an opportunity to win $100, you’ll need to bet $104 on this game.
For us to win, we need the combined score to add up to 10 runs or less. If it adds up to 11 runs, our bet is tied and will be canceled. If it adds up to 12 runs or more, we lose the bet.
