Tonight, I’m hoping for a little less drama as we make a top bet between FC Dallas and Philadelphia Union.

And I like them to win.
I’ve just been burned by too many draws in soccer to take that leap (though it pays out a nice +130 for the favorite to win).
I think we got a great matchup on our hands tonight and I don’t want to ruin it by picking a winner. I’ll play the over/under instead.
At 2.5 goals, I’m going with the over.
Philadelphia is known for putting up three or four goals of their own in any given matchup. Dallas is a well-rounded team trying to slow them down. They may be able to, but I don’t see them keeping the Union under two goals. If this ends up 2-2 or 3-1, I’ll be happy no matter who wins.
Bovada is paying out -110 for the over on 2.5 goals. For us to win, we need the combined score from both teams to add up to three goals or more. If it adds up to two goals or less, we lose the bet.
