Central Michigan Chippewas vs Western Michigan Broncos
We are back with some teaser action tonight.
The Western Michigan Broncos are the better team. They have the better record and are favored by nine points tonight. But they are coming off a road loss to a team that the Central Michigan Chippewas beat at home.
That home field advantage is a big plus, but nine points is a lot to adjust for what should be a pretty balanced game.
So we add a teaser and take the Chippewas plus 15 points tonight. That’s a two touchdown deficit that I just don’t see them losing by.
And for our other leg of the teaser, we can look at the over/under at 64.5 points.
Only two of their combined last 10 games have gone for over 65 points.
That’s a ton of points. Possible, but almost needs constant scoring. Both teams have not been prone to do that week in and week out. That’s why I like the under, especially after we add our six points.
That brings the over/under to 70.5 points, and we need the score to add up to less than that to hit our teaser bet tonight.
Fanduel is paying out -120 for picking the a six point teaser on the Central Michigan Chippewas +15 (was 9 points) and the total score to come in under 70.5 points (was 64.5). That means a $100 bet will have the chance to payout $83, or a 83% profit. If you are looking for an opportunity to win $100, you’ll need to bet $120 on this game.
For us to win, we need both sides of the teaser to pay out.
We need the Chippewas to win the game, or lose by 14 points or less. If they lose by exactly 15 points, this part of the bet is tied and canceled. If they lose by 16 points or more, we lose the bet.
We also need the combined score to equal 70 points or less. If it adds up to 71 points or more, we also lose the bet.
