Vanderbilt Commodores vs Pittsburgh Panthers
We got away with a straight underdog bet on Virginia, so let’s go for it again.
There’s big money riding on the Pittsburgh Panthers tonight, at home, and playing well.
They have one more loss than Vanderbilt, but it’s Vanderbilts first road game. I’ve mentioned that defenses can usually travel well. But Vandy relies heavily on their offense. In fact, in their only loss, they scored just 37 points… in a whole game.
In their wins, they scored 91, 79 and 77 points.
So they will rely heavily on hitting those buckets while Pittsburgh is still trying to find its stride. A home game against an evenly matched team could be just the mark.
After starting 0-2, with one loss at home and one on the road, they have won two games with solid defense while only scoring 63 and 59 points.
Look for the home crowd to lift up the Panthers to bring the D and completely disrupt the Commodores shooting effort.
