Chicago Bears vs Green Bay Packers
The Bears are getting Justin Fields back in a prime time matchup. He was playing his best football yet, and while he may not pick up where he left off exactly, he is still dangerous enough to put up some points on the Packers.
And Green Bay will be Green Bay. They’ll move the ball and likely win this game.
But can their defense make the stops when they matter?
Prime time anything can happen, but I like the Bears plus the points because they are given a ton as they go on the road. The spread is at 12.5 points, but with a six point teaser, we can make it the Bears plus 18.5 points.
That’s massive and for a divisional rivalry under the lights, I love this pick.
For the over/under, we’ll go with the over. It’s at 43 points without the teaser. But when we add the six points, we get it down to 37 points to hit the over.
By adding the teaser, we are making this a no brainer bet.
Sportsbooks pay out -120 for taking a six point teaser on the Bears plus 18.5 points (was 12.5 points) and the over at 37 points (was 43 points). That means a $100 bet will have the chance to payout $83, or a 83% profit. If you are looking for an opportunity to win $100, you’ll need to bet $120 on this game.
For us to win, we need both sides of the teaser to win.
So we need the Bears to either win the game, or lose by 18 points or less. If they lose by 19 points or more, we will lose the bet.
And we also need the combined score to equal 38 points or more. If it adds up to exactly 37 points, this side of the bet is tied and will be canceled. If it adds up to 36 points or less, we will lose the bet.
