Some crazy games yesterday, but now it’s time to make up for all the lost bets over the weekend.
It’s Monday Night Football and what better way to start the week than with a big winning bet.
We are taking the no brainer bet on tonights matchup between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.

Detroit Lions vs Green Bay Packers
Ok, so we know Rodgers had a horrible first week.
Everyone is expecting him to have a bounce back game and lead the Packers to a double-digit win at home.
That’s a stretch, so Lions covering the spread is a good bet, but not our top one.
Instead, I’m looking at the QB props and the battle between two veterans, Goff and Rodgers.
Goff’s over/under is 1.5 TDs. I started thinking this was the sure bet. But if he goes for two touchdowns, he went for three in week one and the Lions put up 33 points in garbage time, what better way to play than this the Lions over/under.
It’s just 17 points tonight. That’s two touchdowns and a field goal. I already expect Goff to throw two touchdowns. All they need is a rushing touchdown or field goal to get us to the over for tonight. And if Rodgers really does bounce back, more garbage points will be on the way.
Keep in mind, the Packers let the Saints put up 38 points in week one. The Saints were held to just 7 points this week. If there’s another team the Lions can put up a big score on, the Packers defense has to be at the top of the list.
So I’ll take the Lions over 17 tonight, by default, thanks to the division rivalry in prime time.
Fanduel is paying out -120 for picking the over for the Lions at 17 points. That means a $100 bet will have the chance to payout $83, or a 83% profit. If you are looking for an opportunity to win $100, you’ll need to bet $120 on this game.
For us to win, we need the Detroit Lions to score 18 points or more. If they score exactly 17 points, our bet is tied and will be canceled. If they score 16 points or less, we will lose the bet.
That’s all for today.
