Las Vegas Raiders vs Los Angeles Chargers
This is going to be another great night game for the NFL. The Raiders are undefeated and their biggest win is the OT victory over the Ravens on opening day.
But the Chargers are coming off a big win over KC.
Now, the Raiders are looking to go 4-0 on the road and I think they have a great shot. They are averaging 30 points per game while the Chargers are at just 22 points.
Two different styles of play are going to clash tonight. Will it be Chargers defense winning the battle, or another shoot out for the books.
I’m expecting another close one, so we’ll be taking the Raiders plus nine points. The normal spread is plus three, but with a six point teaser, we have a cushion I don’t think will miss.
On the flip side, we’ll take the under on 57.5 points. The over/under was 51.5 before the six points.
For that, I’m expecting both defenses to step up and make some big plays to keep it close. That will likely keep us under the 57.5 points.
Sportsbooks pay out -120 for using a teaser on the Raiders to lose by nine points or less (was a three point spread) and total score to be under 57.5 (was 51.5 points). That means a $100 bet will have the chance to payout $83, or a 83% profit. If you are looking for an opportunity to win $100, you’ll need to bet $120 on this game.
For us to win, we need both results to work out. We need the Raiders to with lose by eight points or less, or win the game. If they lose by exactly nine points, it will be tied on this half of the bet and canceled one leg. If they lose by 10 points or more, we will lose the bet.
We also need the total combined score to add up to 57 points or less. If it adds up to 58 points or more, we will lose the bet.
If either of those lose, we will lose the bet. That’s how a teaser works.
