New York Giants vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
We are turning to a teaser pick tonight.
The Giants are not playing good football, but some weeks they still find a way to fight and win.
That’s the opposite for the Buc’s. They are a good football team, coming off the Super Bowl, and seem to have hit a bit of a slump. Brady is looking to not lose three games straight, but they haven’t won this year without Antonio Brown and they are without him again tonight.
I still like the Buc’s to win, it just may be scrappier than expected.
That’s why I’m using a teaser.
We’ll take the over on 49.5 points and the Buc’s -11 points, but with a six point teaser. That teases our lines down to 43.5 points on the over and -5 points for the Buc’s to cover and win by.
I’m hoping they blow past these numbers, and we can clock out in the third quarter knowing we likely have a win.
But, without the teaser, I simply cannot trust the Buc’s just yet. It’s not late enough in the season for me to go all in.
Sportsbooks pay out -120 for making a 6-point teaser pick on the Buccaneers -5 points (was -11 points) and the combined score to go over 43.5 points (was 49.5 points). That means a $100 bet will have the chance to payout $83, or an 83% profit. If you are looking for an opportunity to win $100, you’ll need to bet $120 on this game.
For us to win, we need the both sides of the teaser to win. We need the Buc’s to win by six points or more and the total score to come in over 43.5 points.
If Tampa wins by exactly five points, the first leg of the teaser will be tied and canceled.
If they Buc’s lose, or win by four points or less, we will lose the bet. And if the final combined score adds up to 43 points or less, we will lose the overall bet.
