Seattle Seahawks vs “No Mascot” Washington
Who would have thought this game would look as ugly as it does on paper. A 3-7 Seahawks vs the 4-6 “No Mascots.”
I guess we could see one team sitting at this level, but it certainly wasn’t a healthy Seattle team.
Still, I have to go with Washington here. The Seahawks have lost four of their last five, against the Cardinals, Packers, Saints and Steelers mind you, but the “No Mascots” have beaten Carolina and Tampa Bay (which was impressive) and now return home to host the Seahawks.
But here’s how we’ll play it.
With a six point teaser.
I like the under on 53.5 points (was 47.5 points) and Washington plus 7 points (was 1 point).
Sportsbooks will pay out -120 for taking a six point teaser on Washington plus 7 points and the under on 53.5 points. That means a $100 bet will have the chance to payout $83, or a 83% profit. If you are looking for an opportunity to win $100, you’ll need to bet $120 on this teaser.
For us to win, we need both sides of the teaser to hit. We need the combined score to add up to 53 points or less and for Washington to either win the game, or lose by 6 points or less. If they lose by exactly 7 points, the bet is tied and canceled on that half. If they lose by 8 points or more, we will lose the bet.
