We have been red hot in the NHL so why change it. It seems like teams are scoring more goals than normal this season. I haven’t looked at the stats, but these games have been 3-4 goal shoot outs all over the place.
We’ll stay in the NHL today as we look to go for our fifth winning bet in a row with hockey as our top pick.
Tonight we are looking at the matchup between the Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers for our “Pick of the Day.”
Here’s what I’m seeing and why we want to bet on this matchup…
Boston Bruins vs Philadelphia Flyers
These two teams are sitting at first and second in the East division, playing some of the best hockey in the league.
The fact they are two of the top scoring teams in the league has this matchup on my radar tonight.
Boston and Philly have already clashed three times this season and the Bruins have dominated, winning all three. But it’s the scoring that I’m looking at.
Each of these three games have gone for more than 5.5 points, the over/under for tonight. Game one was a 5-4 win for the Bruins in an action shootout. Then, the Bruins won 6-1 two days later. Two days ago, the Bruins beat the Flyers in Philly with a 4-3 win in overtime, helping us win a separate over bet.
Today, I want to stay with the over.
These two teams are red hot when it comes to scoring. I’m confident, between the two of them, they will help push the score north of 5 goals later tonight.
FanDuel is paying out -110 for taking the over on 5.5 goals tonight. That means a $100 bet will have the chance to payout $90.91, or a 90.91% profit. If you are looking for an opportunity to win $100, you’ll need to bet $110 on this game.
For us to win, we need the combined score between both teams to add up to six goals or more. If it adds up to five goals or less, we will lose the bet.
Don’t forget we have at least four additional picks practically every day for our Elite Daily Bets packages.
