The Nets didn’t come through for us last night.
We’ll turn to a top bet in the NHL today between the New York Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers.
And remember to check out our Elite Daily Bets section to get our picks on every game in the NCAA tournament, plus more NHL, NBA and MLB picks each day.
Here’s our bet for today…
New York Rangers vs Philadelphia Flyers
These two teams are not afraid to score, but their records havent been that impressive.
They sit at fifth and sixth in the East division.
It’s going to be another close game.
The sportsbooks have the over/under at 6.5 goals tonight. It’s pretty rare to see NHL games go for seven or eight goals. But these two teams score a lot.
They are both averaging three goals per game, and a 3-3 tie in regulation puts them at seven total goals when someone wins.
The last time they met, it was the Rangers who put up a whopping nine goals by themselves in a 9-0 win.
Three of their four games have gone for seven or more goals.
Still, I think defense becomes a focus tonight. The Flyers are at home and won’t let the Rangers run it up again.
I’m looking for a tight game but to keep the score tamed as both teams know they need to stop someone to get more wins.
That’s why we are betting on the under tonight.
FanDuel is paying out -114 for picking the under on 6.5 goals. That means a $100 bet will have the chance to payout $87.72 or a 87.72% profit. If you are looking for an opportunity to win $100, you’ll need to bet $114 on this game.
For us to win, we need the combined score at the end of the game to equal six goals or less. If it adds up to seven goals or more, we will lose the bet.
That’s all for today.
