Normally, I don’t bet on the first few games, because there’s so much uncertainty.
But, seeing the draft, and knowing how the Knights are likely to come out, I have a solid bet for tonights matchup between the Seattle Kraken and Vegas Golden Knights.
Our teaser yesterday came up short due to Baltimore’s miraculous comeback. It’s okay. We are set to lock in a winner in the NHL now.

Seattle Kraken vs Vegas Golden Knights
The Seattle Kraken is the newest NHL franchise, and they get a date with the second newest franchise, the Vegas Golden Knights.
But, the Knights exploited old rules when they were able to pull together their franchise team. It’s why they were able to start out so hot even though they were a new team.
The Kraken got the short end of the stick. Teams new how to hide player from the Kraken, and ultimately, set the Kraken off to a slow start.
I love their name though.
I just don’t see them being an NHL powerhouse this season.
The Vegas Golden Knights are still one of the teams to beat. And with a home opener against a brand new franchise, I’m expecting a sort of blowout for the Knights.
That’s why I’ll take Vegas -1.5 goals to win this game by two goals or more.
