Connecticut Sun vs Chicago Sky
The Chicago Sky have stunned some to be leading this series 2-1, after stealing a road win in overtime in game one.
They lost the second game on the road and won on the 3rd when they returned home.
This is another home game for the Sky, but odds makers have the Sun evening the score.
On the road, the Sky lost by 11 points. They are a four point underdog tonight with the over/under at 156 points.
By making this a teaser, we get to add four points in our favor.
I like Chicago to keep it close once again, so we’ll take the Sky plus 8 points. And they are up 2-1 on this series and playing at home.
On the other side, we’ll take the under on 160 points. There’s some heavy money getting put on the under tonight, and by adding our teaser we get a couple of extra baskets to help things go our way.
Sportsbooks pay out -110 for using a teaser on the Chicago Sky plus 8 points (was four points) and to come in under 160 points (was 156 points). That means a $100 bet will have the chance to payout $90, or a 90% profit. If you are looking for an opportunity to win $100, you’ll need to bet $110 on this game.
For us to win, we need both results to work out.
We need the Chicago Sky to lose by seven points or less, or win the game. If they lose by exactly eight points, it will be tied on this half of the bet and canceled one leg. If they lose by nine points or more, we will lose the bet.
We also need the total combined score to add up to 159 points or less. If it is exactly 160, the bet is tied and will be canceled on this leg. If it adds up to 161 points or more, we will lose the bet.
If either of those lose, we will lose the overall bet. That’s how a teaser works.
