Seattle Mariners vs Chicago White Sox

On Friday, the Seattle Mariners will host the Chicago White Sox for their first game at home.

As we stick with baseball again, you’ll notice a theme in many of our bets – I like the home teams.

Whether they are the favorite or the underdog, I think a home game is an advantage that can help a team rally to either keep it closer than expected, or pull off the upset.

We are sticking with that theme today as the Seattle Mariners hold their home opener. It was delayed from Thursday to Friday due to weather conditions, so that shouldn’t be a factor for the game.

If anything, it gives both team rest, especially the Mariners who are coming of an eight game stretch on the road.

Even though they had to open on the road, they couldn’t have asked for a much better start. They went 7-1 over those games and are looking to carry that momentum into the home opener.

The White Sox on the other hand, are 2-3 after splitting home games against the Indians and losing two to the Royals.

They need to bounce back, but the Mariners are a tough team this year looking to build on a solid start.

The Mariners have won four straight, looking for their fifth win in the big home opening. I mentioned that home games provide some momentum, well there’s nothing like coming home after starting with a 7-1 record on the road to get fans excited. Expect the 12th man to have a big impact.

The odds are not up yet, but taking them -1.5 should be about even, with a slight positive payout. Meaning a $100 bet should net roughly $100, but we can double-check once the lines are posted. For now, this is the bet you want to find, and the higher the payout the better. All the odds will be +1.5, but some will pay 110% and some may pay 120%. The higher the number here the better.

To profitable bets,

Ryan
