You’ve seen the headlines, MLB is Back, Baseball is Back, and it has led many to placing sports bets on exhibition games.
Exihibition games!
These games don’t matter. How can you possibly have an edge to wager money on. No one does. These guys don’t care if they win or lose. You may know who is going to hit, and what pitchers are good, but they are rotating through their lineups like crazy to get some playing time.
This is not the types of games you want to put your money down on. There’s nothing on the line. And that makes a dangerous bet.
Don’t do it.
We only have two days before Opening Day for the MLB, with the Yankees vs Nationals and Giants vs Dodgers.
Honestly, seeing the spike in new cases, anything can happen to disrupt those plans. So let’s not get ahead of ourselves by saying MLB is back, when we haven’t had a meaningful game yet.
I know it feels great just to say it, we are only days away from another major sport getting underway.
The NBA tips off a week later and the NHL a few days after that. Hang in there folks, just a matter of days before our plates are full of sports bets.
For now, we’ll continue to focus on the major matchups in the MLS.
Our “Pick of the Day” for today will be out later, on the matchup between Atlanta United FC (+150) and Columbus Crew SC (+145). To get it, all you have to do is sign up for our “Pick of the Day” newsletter. Don’t worry. It’s free. This is our number one bet for the day and we do it each and every day.
Because as we head into the MLB season, NBA and NHL are going to offer even more opportunities.
Today’s rundown will feature the biggest underdog in the Premier League, which presents either a major upset, or easy cash on the favorite, then a quick look at some stats on the three MLS games.
The Daily Sports Bets Rundown
We’ll start with the 9am kickoff between Toronto FC (+115) and New England (+210). Toronto is a second ranked team, facing the 8th ranked team in the east. They are the better team, but don’t look past New England. They are fighting for a spot and a win tonight will be huge.
Next up is our “Pick of the Day” between Atlanta United FC (+150) and Columbus Crew SC (+145). Atlanta has had two bad losses, scoring zero goals. Meanwhile the Crew is coming off two strong wins, shutting out their opponents. It’s going to be a great matchup tonight as both look to grab another win.
The third MLS game of the day is with the Montreal Impact (+200) and DC United (+115). A battle between the 9th and 7th ranked teams in the east, this one is anyone’s game. DC United is a slight favorite, but Montreal is a great matchup for them. Look for this to be a close one.
The biggest underdog in the Premier League today is Watford (+800) who is going up against Manchester City (-340). Watford is a bottom ranked team, while Manchester City is fighting for first place. This is going to be a one sided matchup, but the odds make anything tempting.
The Wolves were the favorite yesterday, and offered easy money with a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace.
