Breakfast football in London, the Red River Rivalry in Dallas, and a Georgia-Alabama game that may have to dodge a hurricane. This weekend rewards the bettor who trusts the matchups over the names.
Thursday already reminded everyone how fast a number can lie: the Cowboys were laying 8.5 at home and lost 24-16 to Tampa Bay. So we’re leaning on teams whose underlying numbers back up the price, not teams that just have the bigger brand.
That starts at 9:30AM ET Sunday. Jacksonville opened as roughly a field-goal favorite over Philadelphia in London, and some books now have the Jaguars laying a full touchdown. That’s a big move, and the efficiency numbers say it’s earned. On Saturday, Texas gets an Oklahoma offense that ranks near the bottom of the SEC, in a rivalry the Longhorns have owned lately.
Two featured plays, four player props, and the rest of the board below.

🏈 FRIDAY LOCK · NFL
Jaguars -7 vs Eagles (London)
THE PLAY
Jacksonville -7 · London · Sun 9:30AM ET (NFL Network) · Total 41.5
THE LINE
Opened about JAX -3 → now -7 (-7.5 at bet365) · ML JAX -380 / PHI +300
WHY
Sporting News calls this one of the biggest EPA mismatches on the board, and the numbers back it up. Jacksonville ranks 4th in offensive EPA per play; Philadelphia’s defense ranks 27th. On the ground it’s 4th vs 29th. The Eagles’ offense ranks 29th in EPA per play, and Jalen Hurts carries a 62.8 PFF grade. Jacksonville also leads the league with a +6 turnover differential and six interceptions in four games. SI adds that the Eagles’ offense is decimated by injuries. If the Jaguars get an early lead, their run game can put this away.

🏈 SECOND LOCK · CFB
Texas -7.5 vs Oklahoma
THE PLAY
Texas -7.5 · Red River Rivalry · Sat 3:30PM ET (ABC) · Covers lean: Under 39.5
THE LINE
Texas -7.5 · Covers likes it up to -9.5
WHY
Under Brent Venables, Oklahoma has been non-competitive in three of its four Red River games. Texas held the Sooners without a touchdown in three of the four, and won those three by an average of 32.3 points. This year OU ranks 112th nationally in available yards percentage and last in the SEC in offensive success rate (39.2%). John Mateer threw three interceptions with a 34.6 QBR against Texas last year. The Longhorns’ defense ranks No. 3 in net adjusted EPA per play and 16th in havoc rate. A touchdown and a hook is a fair price for a matchup this lopsided.
